Hello, I am Sam! Welcome to SKB! Originally born and raised in London, UK, I now live in Dubai, UAE with my fiancé Sunny. The concept of “SKB” developed from my own personal experiences of living in Dubai. I have often felt lost, isolated and incredibly lonely navigating this city. I really needed a friend to turn to during the highs and lows of life. I found that friendships are hard to make and sustain due to the transient nature of living in Dubai and the platforms to ask for advice are extremely limited.  I developed the idea of SKB as a means of women asking for advice and support on a variety of topics and themes that impact the daily lives of women across the UAE and the world. SKB is a safe space and the “best friend” that many women are hoping to find by providing a platform for women to ask for, receive and give advice with no judgement, no shame and no agenda.
